I’m all about UNIQUE, and this design certainly is. This is one of my favorite clients I have ever worked with and I’m pretty this family singlehandedly turned me into a checkered obsessed freak! I now want black and white checkered everything…clothing included.

This is one of my favorite concept designs for a nursery to date! The client actually chose the other concept but I just had to share this one with you because it makes my heart so happy.

As of now, I do not have any children but let me tell you when I do, my nursery design will probably look a lot like this! Maybe with some more modern elements because that’s my jam. But I LOVE sage green. It is so in right now and almost works as a neutral in many spaces.

You’ll see I mentioned in that post that I’m not a fan of tacky or cheesy home decor and tend to move toward more subtle holiday decor.

So here is another one for those like me, who want to decorate their home for the holidays but want it to look modern, sophisticated and classic.

I have always been a huge fan of summer for as long as I remember. I typically roll my eyes as images of pumpkin spice lattes flash across my screen on instagram. All I want are days on the beach, walks outside and cold lemonade. But I think this summers hot temperatures have changed my opinion and I could NOT be more excited to have hot. lattes, hot soups, cozy fires in the fireplace….and a little upgrade on my home decor for the season.

If you’re like me, you love to have a few pieces in your space that are unique and fun.

Even with my clients who prefer neutrals, I like to select at least one item per room that stretches them a bit out of their comfort zone. Many times you’ll find that you look at one individual piece and it’s something you never would have selected on its own. But with all the other items it fits perfectly. This is my happy place.

Holy Rainbows, Batman! Can you tell I’ve been in a colorful mood lately? I can’t help myself. All these rooms make me so happy.

For this particular design, I think this could be for a teen or for an adult. It’s a playful design but it has a sophistication to it as well.

Design Tip: If you are working with multiple colors and don’t know how to bring them all together, you’re going to need something I like to call a “bridge” item. Bridge items takes all the colors in the room and tie them all together in one piece.

Mid-century modern is a design style I’ll never get tired of. Add in all these fun and colorful retro-looking accessories and you’ve got my heart. I designed this funky living room so that you can use a solid coffee table or can trade it in for the pink fuzzy ottomans you can see down at the bottom left.

Nothing like a funky and colorful room! This design uses a daybed and accent chair for a home office. The office part is on another board 😉

I hear from client’s all the time….I only have one room to function as a guest space and as my office…can you help?!
